Reconstruction of road II/605 Holoubkov - Rokycany (Borek)

The topic of the master’s thesis is reconstruction of the the road II/605 between municipality of Holoubkov and municipality of Rokycany (Borek) including local adjustments of the road in urban area of municipality of Svojkovice. The reasons for this reconstruction are insufficient parameters of current condition of the road. In Svojkovice are solved adjustments of crossroads, bus stops, parking bays, pavements and bicycle paths.

Organizational forms of German language education at primary schools in Rokycany

Abstrackt This Diploma thesis deals with the organizational forms of German language education at the 2nd level of three primary schools in Rokycany. After studying the professional literature, the German education as a second foreign language and the organizational forms of teaching (individual, collective, individualized, differentiated, team teaching and group work together with work in pairs) are characterized. After that these primary schools are described along with their school educations programs, textbooks, workbooks. There are presented protocols of sitting in on classes from the 120 German language lessons, that have been visited. Then these data are evaluated. The sitting in on classes show that at these primary schools are most commonly used forms of working in the plenum and frontal instriction - interpretation. At two schools, there was no group work in any teaching classes. A total of 209 pupils and 11 German language teachers completed questionnaires on organisational forms of teaching. Models of questionnaires are available in the appendices. The inquiry reveals that the majority of pupils are most attracted to working in pairs. On the contrary, they are least approached by independent work.

Impact of D5 highway on Rokycany development

Highways building and expressways in general has been taking place all over the world for tens of years. As one of the major advantages of this building up is almost automatically, except an improvement of traffic situation, mentioned the benefit to the regional development in concerned areas. However, there are a few executed studies of highways impact on the regional development and most of them are from abroad. The studies show that presence of highway has a different impact on each region. But, they also warn on the adverse effects of highways on the regional development, especially in the peripheral regions. In those regions highways rather further deepen the disparities between the core and the periphery. The town of Rokycany acts as a relatively strong centre for its hinterland and thanks to D5 highway as a suburban area of the nearby and ten times larger city of Pilsen. The traffic diverting out of the town centre was necessary even if the local shopkeepers can experience a drop of incomes. The local authorities and the major firms welcome the presence of highway.

Aamateur theatre in the Region Rokycany into 19th. - 20th. Century

The subject of this bachelor thesis deals with the development, history and significance of amateur theatre in the Region Rokycany since the beginning to the present. I'll briefly summarize history of amateur theatre and then I will focus on the history of the Region Rokycany and town Myto. As an example, I'll mention several theatres. I'd take a closer look on group of amateurs from Myto as an main example of amateur theater, which is one of the oldest amateur theatres in the region. I'll focus on their origins, how they survive in both world wars and communism. At last chapter I'll write about repertoar of amateurs of Myto. Feminism and Emancipation of Women in Schools in Rokycany

In the first part, the Diploma Thesis describes feminism in general, its development and opinions about it that were built over the years and had the biggest impact on emancipation of women in our country and even all around the world. The second part of the Thesis is focused on the practical part of these views, specifically how these theories were applied to the education of women in Rokycany, a city in West Bohemia. In addition, Thesis also follows the emancipation of women at school and the development of women's education in Rokycany. It summarizes the origin and development of the Rokycany grammar school and the involvement of women in schooling. Thesis also mentions Ludmila association and its influence and efforts to emancipate women in a number of other schools in the Rokycany area. Last but not least, Thesis introduces the very first women, who had the opportunity to attend the Rokycany grammar school, their further studies and specialization in employment. In the end, it also mentions the first women who had the opportunity to be part of the teaching staff at the Rokycany grammar school. The aim of the bachelor thesis is a summary and analysis of current files of the local and place names in the town of Rokycany and its surrounding areas. The material used was obtained by field research that was carried out in several villages in the district of Rokycany. The work includes delimitation and characteristics of the researched territory, a description of typical characteristic features of the local and place names, its categorisation and analysis of the gathered material.

Sexual and excretory vocabulary and contexts of its usage in Romani

This thesis deals with usage of special vocabulary - "sexual and excretion" - in different contexts in a Roma community in Rokycany. This thesis is actually analysis and it focuses on searching for equivalences and differences in Romani language. The author compares these expressions with Czech language as well. The sexual and excretion vocabulary is used in different contexts and it is often used in tabooed situations. The usage of those linguistic instruments depends on a speaker's status in the community.
